Alright I kind of stumbled upon a problem... a big problem and I need allot of help to get myself out of this mess. So I need all the help that I can get, which includes any ideas on what to do next.
Ok, my crew which is captained by a player Character(people on this site might know him by Lt.Krys Antos now a captain) have return back from the delta quadrant a.k.a Voyager style. And have brought back a new freind along with them, and also an alien vessel from the delta quadrant which they needed to get back home which after nearly escaping certain death when Antos ordered a suicidle order which kind of scraped there entire ship. But thats beside the point.
The new freind that they have brought home to the alpha quadrant, which they started calling the shadowpeople (actually an alien entity) have been causing problems recently, and even most recent a huge problem. Well this alien entity wanted to go back home right... but since that was obviously out of the question they had to find somewhere, where the alien entities could live without ever coming across ferying ships in the area. And since this alien entity lives in somewhat hazardous conditions like nebulas and stuff. they had to find something similar.And the only place which came close was the maelstrom area(like in Bridge Commander). So back to the most recent problem caused by this race. Yeah, one borg sphere came through what you might call some sort of gateway or portal, before they had a chanse to destroy the probe which was creating the field. Yeah I won't go into detail on how this came together since it would take to long. Anyways these are the points I have.
-We got one Borg Sphere which came through some sort of Portal created by some sort of alien probe.
-We have alien entities from the delta quadrant put in the maelstrom area by the crew of the U.S.S Andromeda.
So this is where my last mission left off the Borg sphere comes out from the portal contacts the U.S.S andromeda and greets the ship with its normal greeting resistance is futile basically.
And this is all happening within the Maelstrom area. But what happens is that 2 of my playable charaters are liked by the alien entities, and the 2 of them granted them a way to get back home, but they kind of went back on there word. And thats what caused this entire problem. Humans promise something to alien entities-humans go back on there word-entities get pissed off- open up a portal to the delta quadrant and a more evil race comes through to wipe the alpha quadrant out or some of it at least. And the year is around 2490, well all I know it is well after the dominion war took place.
And now I don't know where to go from here, all and any help would be appreciated. If you need more information just post what you need and I will reply as quickly as possible. Thank you
Can the Borg assimilate the Shadowpeople? And maybe the crew of the Andromeda attempt to rescue them?
Or if the Shadowpeople are REALLY alien (and REALLY pissed off at the Andromeda crew for getting them stranded...) perhaps the Borg merely ATTEMPT to assimilate them, but can't quite get control of them. Maybe these pissed-off Shadowpeople wind up assimilating the BORG instead of the other way around. Then they've got the entire collective with which to take revenge on the Alpha Quadrant
Or if you don't want to make the Shadowpeople villians, it could be some sort of messed-up assimilation - maybe the entire collective winds up acting on some unconsious urge of the Shadowpeople to mess with the people who got them stranded, something they would NEVER act on consciuosly. That way you have the worst of both worlds - the crew still has to rescue the shadowpeople, but the entire collective is coming after them.
What shoul happen next(Tomec and group stay out)
