Adventure / Series Seeds PDF File

    Afternoon all.

I spent a while yesterday downloading & copying the Adventure Seed & Series Seed threads (as well as the Evil Games Master Support Group).

I've put it all onto one document and converted it to a PDF. (Please find attached below).

I would like to state, it turned into one rather chunky document, almost 100 pages, and thats after i've removed everything unneeded. So i would like to first of all give credit where credit is due to all those who have posted an obscene amount of exceptional ideas onto these threads. There are lterally hundreds of ideas for Plots, series, adventures and twisted PC torture.

Personally i'd like to say thanks to everyone, i've only scanned some of the for now, but i'm going to enjoy reading all of them later.

I would like to apologise also, in the process of reducing the pdf to a reasonable size, most, if not all, of the names of those responsible have been removed, so i'll say sorry now, and point anyone who wants to know the brains behind these ideas to the relevant threads.

So with out further ado, attached is the PDF. This is uptodate as of the 28th March 2004. So anything posted after 'aint on here.

Enjoy all, and lets keep the ideas flowing, there's some great ideas on the threads. Be a shame to stop now.

No problem, i was compiling it for info for a series i've just started narrating, some great ideas in there. I've also started looking through all the old threads in the Narrators Ready Room and i'm compiling another PDF of some old goodies from there (including the complete Ghosts from the Past thread)

Just a quick post to bring this back to the top, also to ask if anyone's posting any more ideas.

I can't, i haven't used my few ideas yet, & i don't want to warn my players, but c'mon guys & gals, Adventure/Series ideas, there've gotta be a few nasty minded GM's out there with plot to share

I think it'd be cool if TrekRPG.net ever gets going again, for people to take the ideas in the thread and flesh them out to ful lblown adventures for the site. Possibly to the level that the free Decipher ones are at.

It's a nice idea, especially if those who've posted the ideas & have run them could be persuaded (nicely of course) to give a few pointers on how they went

I plan on using a few of them for my group, i'll try & keep some detailed notes from the better sessions & write them up, see how it goes

BTW all, i haven't had the opportunity to complete the 2nd compilation i'm working on, i seem to have far too much of this work thing to do (Yeuch!!!)

However, i'm attaching below the complete Ghosts of the Past adventure (By Fortunae) It's an excellent adventure, well written, and enough to scare nervous players nicely.

Enjoy, and thanks Fortunae, still awaiting 'Sleeping Dogs', a second adventure mentioned in the previous post.

    Just registered this one...

Very nice - only one complaint, it would have been nice to be credited for my ideas!

Any chance of an update with at least the board names of the original creators?

    Keep it up!

    Thanks Imagus,

I was origonally going to credit everyone on the pdf file, but it added an extra 15+ pages or so to the file, it's quite chunky as it is. As i said on the initial post,

So i would like to first of all give credit where credit is due to all those who have posted an obscene amount of exceptional ideas onto these threads... To reformat the file would mean recreating it from scratch, which i can't do right now, but if everyone would prefer credit where it's due on the file, i'll do my best to recreate it as soon as i can.

I'll be working on a second file as soon as there are enough ideas for a doc, and this one will have a 'written by' at the bottom of each idea.

Well it's been a while coming... a 'long' while, but the promised update has finally appeared.

It's posted on the Adventure series seed thread...

    Enjoy
