The Dionysus is a Sovereign class starship, dispatched to the outer regions of Federation space in close proximity to the Romulan Neutral at the order of Fleet Admiral Alyanna Necheyev, its mission: To covertly gather information on Romulan activites in the region in order to ensure the survival of the federation and its allies, while taking necessary steps to improve diplomatic relationships with the Romulan Empire.
