Tired of the overly-advanced simms, all claiming to have that "one, unique ship with the secret weapon that alone can save the universe"? Ever wonder if there was a simm who's crew relied on extrodinary people instead of extraordinary technology? Then look no further, the USS Bounty is the place for you.
First launched 2331 and then retired in 2360, the Centaur class USS Bounty served admirably throughout the Federation-Cardassian War. In 2372, sensing the oncoming threats of the Borg and the Gamma Quadrant, the USS Bounty was one of many older ships ordered back into service, under the command of LtCmdr Kyle Lynch. All positions other than CO and XO are currently available on board, and we welcome all new and experinced players.
The USS Bounty sets out to be a great simm, set in the era of TNG/DS9, but with adventures with the feel and additude of the Original Series. Come check us out at http://www.home.earthlink.net/~azrael028/USSBounty.htm, and join to take part in a swashbuckling adventure of dangerous exploration! Join today!!!

Hmmm... BravoFleet. That means this ship is
(what I loving call) a "fan-fiction" simm, which means everyone can post action for everyone,
and not a "Narrator-controlled" play-by-email, which means players post only their action and the Narrator reports the results of those actions.
In some ways, generally players also post the results of their own actions and npcs, but not of other players. Generally that would involve what we call a "joint-post", where two people get together to write a (generally lengthier) post. Otherwise we'd have hundreds of three sentence posts and it would take forever to finish anything and the stories would go nowhere. Instead, players usually post half page to one and a half page posts, using self control to stay within reason and true to the story. The narrator's job is not a totallitarian adminastrator, but really just a player who starts and usually finishes the adventure.
Most positions still availible, check out the new site at www.ussbounty.cjb.net Lots of new updates!
The Bounty is just about to finish up it's first adventure, and lots of positions are still open including: Chief Medical Officer, Chief Helmsman, Chief Science Officer and subordinates in all divisions.
