While I have a lot of respect for the authors and others involved in bringing the book to reality, I don't feel the need to pay extra for a signed copy. I'll wait for my FLGS to get it in stock.

(Incidentally, anyone out there have the book? If so, can you confirm or deny the nagging rumors I've read elsewhere about the extensive typos and errors in the book?)

    LotR site

    Don,
Is there work being done on a LotR website similar to trek-rpg.net ?
I seem to recall mention of a LotR domain name some months back when you were having some dns trouble...

Mighty C, check out this thread. It addresses your question.

I have a copy, and I've yet to come across editing errors of any sort. The rumors you've heard may be in response to the boxed LOTR Adventure Game, which is a different beast entirely.

I've found one header typo/error and that's it. Take that for what you will...

Book is now available for pre-order from Decipher

If you want to order it online, you can get it here.

The devil's advocate in me says you could probably get it at a discount elsewhere, though.

According to Decipher's website, the book should ship the 28th and be available either just before or just after the Labor Day weekend.

    Sweet!

    Thumbs up

I'm hoping the book will show up over the Labor Day holiday weekend. One of my FLGS is having a sale.

That and the fact I'm waiting for MasterScreen on special order.

OK, my LGS had Farscape (which I bought) and Buffy (which I passed on.) Where the hell did you get LotRs??? Mike, the owner, still hasn't heard a peep about it.

Buffy RPG was a very well put together book...Might get it yet, but there are other things to spend money on right now. Let me know what you think.

Also, what do think of Farscape? A very well done piece of work I think.

My FLGS called today and said they have a copy of the LOTR RPG on hold for me.

So, it's in stores now, those of you who want it.
