Where are you gonna be Friday August 23rd, Saturday August 24th, and Sunday August 25th? Come to Wichita, KS for Ra-Con 2K2, one of the largest gaming/sci-fi/fantasy conventions in Kansas.

Meet special media guest Richard Biggs AKA Dr. Franklin from Babylon 5. Play computer games such as StarCraft, Mechwarrior Vengeance and Jedi Knight 2. Check out Unreal 2.

Watch the fireworks, participate in the many contests, buy something at the charity auction, or dance the night away at the Mask-A-Rave Ball.

Decipher's games will be supported in force this year. Local product champions for Decipher's Lord of the Rings and Star Trek card and roleplaying games have planned a weekend of tournaments and roleplaying. All weekend long we'll be demoing games when at the Decipher table. Stop by, say hi, and play a game or two with us. Check out the schedule below for more information.

Other than what's going on at the Decipher table there will also be Legends of the Five Rings and Warlords tournaments, Magic the Gathering will have a pro tour qualifier off site, and the RPGA will be signing up members and running many D&D Living Greyhawk campaigns. There are also plans for a Living Force mod.

Ra-Con will the at Expo Hall and the Hyatt Regency hotel in Wichita, KS. Badges are $29 for a full weekend adult pass and $14 for each day. Children under 12 are $13 for the weekend and $9 per day. For more information on Ra-Con check out www.ra-con.com

You've played against one player, but can you handle the challenge of playing even more? Bring a deck and play against two or three other players at the same time! This event is FREE! to all who attend Ra-Con. After three games, prizes will be awarded to the top players. (Note: depending on attendance this event could run long or short.)

Star Trek Sealed Deck Voyager Warp Speed Tournament
Play the Star Trek Customizable Card Game at Warp Speed! Test how good you are as you battle to win with only a FREE! starter deck to start with. Prizes will be awarded to top players.

Handling one opponent should be a breeze after facing two or three in the multi-player tournament. Stick around for this Constructed deck tournament and win more cards to add to your collection. Plus the event is FREE Ra-Con attenders. Prizes awarded to top players.

Star Trek RPG Session 2 *Another Unnamed Episode*
Continue on where session 1 left off. This time you take on the role of a Starfleet officer aboard the U.S.S. Jeannette Maddox. Even those who didn't play in session one can join in with their own character or one of ours. This event is FREE! to all who attend Ra-Con.

Lord of the Rings Sealed Deck Tournament
If you're new to the game, have a friend who's new, or just like sealed deck this tournament is for you. Get cards, start your collection, and play with the help of Decipher volunteers. A great way to start with the game awarded Origin's Best TCG of 2001. Entry fee is only $6 for more than $20 worth of new cards! (1 starter deck and 3 packs) You'll never get a better deal on a tournament like this! Prizes will also be awarded to top players and best sprotsmanship.

Star Trek RPG Session 3 *TBD Episode*
Your third and last chance of the weekend to try out the Star Trek Roleplaying Game. Trek off into space boldly going where no one has gone before. Once again all you need to play is your Ra-Con admission.
