    Exclamation A rough Bajoran Campaign

Here is a very rough campaign idea I came up with while sitting and watching TV. Comments are welcome. I may turn this into a tabletop game for my area. tell me what ya think!
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Setting

    Era: Early DS9, 2370
    Region: Bajor / Bajor sector
    Traveling: Ships, Shuttle, transporters

    Base of Operations
There could be several. A planetary base, a ship, or Deep Space Nine herself. This is one of the places that needs help.

    Technology
    Era: 24th Century
    Type: Bajoran

    Adversity
Threat and Opposition: Cardassians, Dominion, Jem Hadar, Dominion war opposition.

Crisis and Disaster: Oppression by the Cardassians / a war

    Feel

    Roller Coaster action
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This was just a thought that I had. Any comments welcome!

Sounds reasonable. Would the PCs be Bajoran, Starfleet, or independent? There's a lot you could do with it, but you'd probably want to keep tabs on what happened on the show during that timeframe. You could have interesting scenes from the shows interspersed into your shows, give the PCs a feel of "you are there," give them a chance to pick out their character in the crowd scenes.

    Bajoran

Actually I was thinking about the player's being Bajoran. Maybe starfleet though. Or A mix of Starfleet/Bajoran officers.(Sounds familiar)

I think that the Starfleet/Bajoran angle is best. Why not Bajorans from Starfleet?

The reason? The non agression pact.

Sisko argued that Bajor couldnever stand against the Dominion, and got them to sign the pact to ensure Bajors survival while Starfleet had to rally its forces.

This of course didn't change the fact that many Bajorans were sympathetic to Starfleet/the Federation. Nor did it stop Rom or Jake Sisko from gathering Intelligence...

Now combine this with the offhand remark from Picard when ensign Ro came aboard the Enterprise.
"Why her? She's not the only Bajoran in Starfleet?"

So we know that over 5 years before there were multiple Bajorans in Starfleet, and that since that time, the ties between the two have grown closer still. So why not have Starfleet Bajorans out of uniform and operating on a covert 'mission impossible' style game...

That way, if they are discovered the Dominion doesn't have a reason to trash Bajor for the breach of the non-aggression pact!
