    System Operations Question

Are these Specializations the same or different (And if they are different, how)?

    Operations
    Mission Operations
    Operations Management

At least two of these do refer to different duties in the ST series. Operations Management deals with resource budgeting, prioritization and allocation aboard a starship. Mission Operations backs up Ops Management by handling communications, data management, and other support functions for away teams (probably not the most fun a player character could have).

I wouldn't use "Operations" as a specialization in its own right; too broad.

Operations and Operations Management are most likely the same specialization (after all, the Operations Management station is usually shortened to just operations or Ops).

Mission Ops, however, would be a different specialization. While Operations Management deals with the allocation and use of resources aboard ship, Mission Operations monitors and assists Away Missions or specific shipboard missions. think of it as a more specialized version of Ops Management.

That's a cool title. I've got to figure a way to use that around here.
