    Mr. Bad Example....

I was just on CNN's website, and under entertainment news it was listed that Warren Zevon has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. He says he will spend time with his children and continue to record for as long as possible.

I don't know about anyone else, but Warren Zevon has been one of my favorite recording artists for decades, and while he is not yet gone from us, heis time if near.

I shall miss this rock and roll legend.

I have loved this man since I heard the song Carmelita oh so many years ago.

I hope he does make it to the next Bond flick.

The man has put on some really great shows.

While Excitable Boy is an excellent album, I have always preferred the live sound of Stand in the Fire. Zevon has always been one of the best live performers...

One of my faves...check out Trnasverse City. Highly underrated.
"War is an ugly thing but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
