The Founders are probably going to be difficult to write up. It's mentioned that they wouldn't make a good PC race because their fluid nature would necessary require them to be unbalanced.

Founders must resume their liquid form at least every eighteen hours. If they do not do so, they suffer increasing discomfort. It's unclear whether this would eventually prove lethal, but even if a Founder elected to retain solid form, it's likely he would first become unconscious, and at that point would revert automatically (much as a human cannot hold his breath until he dies).

Someone -- a Cardassian? -- constructed a mechanism that can prevent a Founder from reverting. They suffer all the effects of failing to revert. This type of mistreatment very well might be fatal if continued for a long enough period.

If a founder enters combat, he's made a serious stategic or tactical error. They are puppetmasters, who sit in the background and direct the actions of others. The only situation in which you might find one among the enemy (as it were) is if he's impersonating someone for strategic or tactical gain.

We saw (in an alternate universe episode of DS9) that Founders can be killed by a phaser set on a sufficiently high level -- at least Disruption A, I'd think, and it takes a few seconds of beam contact. They are also affected by some forms of radiation.

At least one Starfleet organization, Section 31, knows how to develop pathogens that affect only the Founders. The example ailment we saw resisted all forms of conventional treatment, and one might reasonbly assume that a therapy would not have been discovered by anyone less talented that Dr. Bashir and his resequenced intellect.

Founders that enter the Great Link may share their knowledge with other Founders. It is unclear at what rate this knowledge propagates, but since the mechanism is liquid, it's likely to be fairly slow.

Founders have some means of duplicating the memories (at least) of individuals that they imitate. It's unclear whether this requires physical contact, although I believe that would be a reasonable restriction. Their duplication is good enough to fool sensors (which suggests that it occurs at the atomic level, in some manner).

I'm working on Jem'Hadar and Vorta racial templates. The Vorta one is almost done, the Jem'Hadar one still needs some work.
I'll try to post them next week (I have to prepare for this week-end's session, so I probably won't have time until next week).
