Tried this a few months ago with no takers. Now that my Spycraft campaign has finished its first run, figured I'd see if there is any new interest. Campaign starts with four players minimum.
Any questions, post 'em here or email me at <strikeforce@mchsi.com>

STAR TREK RPG CAMPAIGN
——————————————
Medium: play-by-email <Yahoo Groups>
Era: Current Next Gen era (post-Voyager return, pre-Nemesis)

Mission: Rapid Response missions, overt and covert. (Heavy on strategy/teamwork, possible/probable combat situation.) All missions start from the starbase or a support ship (Galaxy or Nebula) but will have no active role in the mission. Communication/request for information will be available.
Crew: In order of importance to the party, these are the duty stations to be filled, with rank and experience points pre-assigned.
Command
* Team Leader [LCDR][3000 xp]
* Team Exec/Flight [LTJG][2000 xp]

CHARACTER GENERATION
—————————————————————
Rules: Decipher's Star Trek RPG
* Use "pick" option for character ability (Page 81) or use <http://www.irony.com/mailroll.html> (2 die, 6 sides, no mods, no drops, 9 times) to roll random numbers.
* No Cardassians, Romulans, or Delta Quadrant races, please.
* Trills need not be Joined with a symbiont. Use d4-1 to determine the number of previous hosts, 0 being unjoined.
* Start your character as Ensign grade. Ensigns will be assigned directly from the Academy with no post-Academy experience.
* For positions with rank above Ensign, the XP provided must go toward promotion edges for that position. For example, Team Leader gets 3000 XP. That gives 15 advancement picks (page 152). 6 of those go toward promotion edges to advancement to LCDR. The rest go for any thing else.
* Each LTJG and LCDR character should give background info at least two paragraphs for each ship assignment in character's history. All characters should have at least two paragraphs of background/personality information.
The Narrator will review and select a crew based on backgrounds and species dynamics. NPCs will be made available for the Sciences and Medical positions if no submissions are received.
Originally posted by Lt Cmdr Matt Seriously though I am interested. Has anyone taken the science position or would you prefer me go somewhere else on the game?
All positions are open until I receive a character sheet for a specific position. I will report open/closed status on slots as they occur.
As to sciences or any other, that is up to you. I have NPCs set up for all positions and will be ready to play as soon as the fourth character sheet gets my approval.
I hope this character meets to your approval, and I change to Engineering.
