Australian board members: Sound Off?

Just trying to make sure all our Aussie members are intact after the events in Bali yesterday. Since it's our biggest tourist destination, I'm concerned that some of us might have been over there for the school holidays.

Could all of us sound off and tell us you're safe?

Seriously though I'm quite concerned about the issue since I have a mate who was planning to go over there.

Terrible thing that happened. I really hope they catch those responsible, but I do not have much faith in that happening. The waiting and not knowing what has happened to families loved ones must be terrible. I hope I never had to go through such a thing.

I was never interested in going to Bali, now more than even. Fiji or New Caladonia are looking good.

How many Aussies are on these forums?

In the old days there was only about 3-4 of us.

Well I'm a kiwi, from Auckland. Bali was a popular holiday destination for kiwis too. Never been there myself but have had friends who have been at that club in the past.

We've had 3 confirmed killed and more still missing so far, but nothing like the scale that the Aussies have suffered. Our news reports indicate that Bali was for Australia, per capita, on par with Sept 11 for the USA.

I hope for a speedy recovery for the survivors and justice for all.
