    Cool Heromachine... a great tool.

If you'd like to create pics of your characters or NPC's, and have no atristic talent (like me), then go here:

    www.heromachine.com

This is a great gamemaster tool. V.1 is ok, but I paid the $10 for the beta version ov v.2, and it rocks... and has Trek specific items.

Check out two starfleet characters I created (these were screen caps from the program:

    http://www.geocities.com/hughcasey/Starfleetfemale.jpg

I plan on doing a few of these, then using them to create some "Cardboard Heroes" minis and post them for everyone's use.

    Tell me what you think.

    Hugh

IMPORTANT EDIT: the above URL's don't work... try the one below.

It is a awesome program! I made heaps of DnD and Heroes characters with it.

Although I didn't think v2 was commercially available yet?

Hugh - looking forward to seeing the results!

A quick question as well. Are there templates for TOS starfleet characters, or is it confined to the newer eras?

    Thanks

And yep, you can do TOS, too:

Scroll down for a little joke.

Next up... a ferengi. Romulans look pretty easy, but I don't think I can do Klingon and Cardies just yet. Have to provide some feedback on that!

    Very Nice Hugh.

Is that a add on you've done or can you customize that much in version 2?

Faces/body style are still similar though.

Currently, v.2 only provides one body type (the pose you see), but otherwise, it is MUCH more customizable. More choices, more colors, more everything. It has plenty of generic fantasy, historic, modern, and SF templates, and Star Wars RPG players will have a field day! (You can do most star wars aliens no prob). It just needs a few Trek templates to make it complete ( IMHO)
