    ICON to CODA ships

In recent times I began to transfer the good old Icon ships into CODA, because I like the creation system and combat system far better ( even better than Spacedock, hey I know it is heresey, but I had to stick to the truth ).
So I will post here the different ships.

More to follow soon. I tried to stick to the specs given by POF and the other books, but at some points that was not possible, e.g. the speed of the Akira is higher, because there were only Engines too slow for it.

    Comments are welcome

Actually IIRC you can lower the warp to try and fit them with the ships better even though you are using a (7/8/9) drive it could be (7/8/8.5). Although this is probably just my opinion.

    Hope it helped

Just out of interest, since I don't have the NG yet - which ships are actually listed out (with stats, etc) in the NG?

I'm assuming the "stock" favourites: Constitution, Galaxy, Intrepid, Defiant...what else (any others?)

I'd love to think the Danubes were in there...

Hope I'm not treading on any toes with the following offering, as used by various privateers in my sector. I know the life support and ops are kind of flimsy, but Frigates traditionally are the eyes of the fleet, or raiders, not battleships that can take a prolonged pounding. In the game I'm running (a corridor to Typhon Sector in 2370), the B'Rels in the area are mainly second hand ships that might be a little unreliable anyway.

B'Rel class Light Frigate (Bird of Prey)
    Origin: Klingon Empire
    Year launched: 2330/mid-24th century
    Structure: 15
    Size/Decks: 3/2
    Dimensions: 62x40x10 metres
    Complement: 12

    OPERATIONAL DATA
    Transporters: 2 (1 Personal, 1 Cargo)
    Cargo: 30
    Shuttlebay: 2
    Shuttlecraft: 1x size 1, 1x size 2
    Tractor Beams: 1 (aft, ventral)
    Seperation System: No
Cloaking System: Class 2 (Rating 18)
    Sensor System: Class 3 (C) +3/+2/+1/+0/+0
    Operations Systems: Class 1 (B)
    Life Support: Class 1 (B)

    PROPULSION DATA
    Warp drive: Class 6A (D) 6/8/9
    Impulse Drive: Class 3A (D) .75c

    TACTICAL DATA
    Type VIII Disruptors: 2 (B) 4/4/4/0/0
    Type III Torpedo launchers: 2 (B) 4/4/4/4/4
    Deflectors: Class 4 (A) 12, 1/2

    Maneuver mods: C+0, H+2, T+1
    Replicator Technician 3rd Class

    Thanks Leana...muchly appreciated.

    No Runabouts...

    Still...they've got the D'Deridex.

    I'm a little surprised there's no B'rel - seems like a stock-standard.

And a Hirogen hunter???? Hmmm...this seems like the biggest downside to CODA is the insistence on supporting VOY to the limitation of other stuff (eg: Ocampa and Talaxians in the PG, and no Andorians or Tellarites).

I can understand why Decipher is doing it, but it seems like a lot more people would be interested in running a non VOY game as opposed to a VOY one - and of all the "VOY" ships - a Hirogen one? I would have thought a Kazon raider, Borg tactical cube or sphere rather than a Hirogen. Seems a little odd - personally, I'd rather see a Jem'Hadar ship instead of a Hirogen one. But that's just me.

Anyway...hopefully there'll be a starship sourcebook out sometime soon.

    My wish-list would be:

    Sovereign
    Nebula
    Ambassador
    Excelsior
    Nova
    Akira
    Steamrunner
    Sabre

    B'rel
    K'vort
    Vor'cha

    Jem'Hadar attack ship
    Jem'Hadar cruiser

    Breen cruiser

    Ferengi Marauder

    Maquis attack ship (Peregrine?)

    Tholian web spinner

    Tamarian cruiser

(Can you tell what region and time-period my campaign is set? )

Re: The Tamarians. I'd love to see some more work done on them - I'm bringing them into the Dominion War (when my campaign gets to it - it's looming) as Federation allies.

I always wished there was a reference to them in DS9...

ROSS: We've just had word - the 6th Allied Fleet has been wiped out.
    SISKO: Damn. Any survivors?
ROSS: Only three ships out of eighty-four
SISKO: Can I speak to the senior surviving captain?
    (viewscreen fizzles into an image)
    SISKO: Captain? What happened?
CAPTAIN (Shaking his head): Shaka...when the walls fell.

They were one of my favourite "minor" races, and I could see them coming in as allies (certainly not part of the UFP) - their starships seem pretty impressive (the one we saw could more than hold its own against a Galaxy class ship. Then again...Riker was in command. Was he ever in command when he didn't get the Enterprise's arse kicked? )

I'll shut up now...it's late and I'm rambling...

    *yawn* G'night...

    I

You will be glad to know that the Andorians and Romulans are in the NG.
