Hey, nice board reference there, Ineti!
If that certain bloke would just slink away, things would be a lot happier there I think.
On a serious side, I, too, hope that the Beltway Sniper is caught soon, and without further injury or loss of life. Also, I wish you the best on your upcoming nuptials. Congrats!
Greg
Aaand, it appears that the sniper(s) might have been captured. We shall see.

Uh-oh... I guess we both forgot some precisions in our wishes...Originally posted by Liz Not Beth
Easy fix! I pronounce you husband-and-wife!

I should have known... if you don't formulate very specifically what you want, you might get exactly what you asked, and not what you wished for....![]()

Yikes! Liz reminds me of an evil GM that I used to roleplay with in high school. He was extremely technical when it came to things like Wishes, and his players would often have to take some time to really think about wish wording, lest things turn sour rather quickly for the entire group.Originally posted by Liz Not Beth

The one time I had a chance to make a wish, I consulted with my cousin, who was an assistant District Attorney at the time, and a former roleplayer, for help in properly constructing my wish. When we were all said and done with it, the wish was more like a research paper / contract, and weighed in at around 10 pages, with references, quotes and source material.
Fortunately, we loosened up quite a bit after that ordeal, though anytime anyone said anything about using Wish, we all had a good laugh, and someone would start hunting through the phonebook for a good lawyer!
As an aside...Whoo hoo! It looks like I've managed to, at least in a minor way, tangle a thread!

....I knew I should've asked for an inflatable doll....
(no offense, C5, but... I just don't wanna be the wife. NOT EVER!)
The darkness inside me is a lot scarier than the darkness out there....
None taken. Beside, I don't think I want to be either wife or husband in such a situationOriginally posted by Robbert Raets
