    Orginization: Starfleet
    Mission Focus: Exploration
Composition: Mostly Human and possibly a Vulcan/Andorian

Actually I think Archer is not that bad ... comparing with Janeway. My god how did that woman ever made admiral?

Saying that it sounds fine and interesting, and here is something I was thinking about.

Get this, in my current campaign I play a captain (GMs character), now I would assume that sooner or later after this campaign is over I may GM more Star Trek either set in the future or the past from the current events.

What if the players in the future belonged to the taskforce who is commanded by non other but my old character who is now an admiral.

Or better yet, if I was to play in the Enterprise era I would put somewhere in there someone with a same surname ... pointing out to the origins of a particular character.

This could really be fun and does not need to be centred around the particular character I might be playing now. You might as well choose a famous character that one of the players played and then show his grand grand father as someone in the NX era...

Or if I was playing a some year before campaign I would put that same captain in there ... but as an ensign, fresh out of the academy as she learns her way in the Starfleet.

Adds this great effect on continuity and a certain level of connection between all your campaigns and stories.
I can only imagine people going ... wow! I know something about this guy/girl already

I think it's great... in fact, USS Pathfinder was going to be the name of my Ent-era series vessel (part of the Pathfinder saga... my DW-era campaign is set aboard the Nova-class USS Pathfinder as well).

Lots of opportunity in a series in this era, lots of material to tie in.

There will be some canon races. Probably some Klingons and then my infamous non-canon races that I am so famous for

    Here come the NPC's

here is the current crew layout which happen to all be NPC's at the moment. Just because I have not heard word from my players yet on names and stuff.

    CO-Player, Human
    XO-NPC, Andorian
    COS-PLayer, Human
    CEO- Human
    CMO-Human
    CSO- Undetermined.
    CCO-Human

Any suggestions so far, to make the crew a little richer, instead of just human and one Andorian. Also does anyone have a Denobulian or Suliban template?

If you use ICON, you can find templates in my Enterprise Era Sourcebook on my homepage ( www.farrealms.de ).

I would suggest adding a Vulcan. That could be first steps towards an interstellar union and maybe Starfleet decided always to take a Vulcan on Deep Space missions, because of their experiences and the good job T'Pol does. It would also give you some interesting stories to tell concerning the Vulcan and the Andorian character.

It is CODA, sorry forgot to mention that. I think the CSO will most probably be Vulcan.

    Players Characters

    Commanding Officer-Captain, Human, Unknown Name

Armory Officer-Lieutenant, Human of Russion Descent, Female-Unknown Name

That's all I got right now. This game is still a few weeks off.

I did the exact reverse... my post-DW era character is a descendant of Charles "Trip" Tucker.

Interestingly enough, he's the chief of ops aboard a USS Pathfinder (Orion class... imagine a four-nacelled Nova)... seems to be a popular name around here.

I have a rough idea of the first mission. It is by far not set in stone since the game will probably start in a couple of weeks.

The crew will get aboard their ship and encounter a strange phenomenon. It is a patch of space that has dense gases, so much so that the sensors cannot even penetrate it. It is like the Briar patch. It conceals more than just a planet though inside it.

The crew will find a small solar system with one star and one planet. The planet is not inhabitated. They find a starbase that has been totally abandoned and it is falling apart. Although with some work they could clean it up and tow it into "cleaner" space. If they choose this then Starfleet Command will think it be a good idea to run a station at the perimeter of explored space and this would allow the players to get to know the local species....

    Any comments?
