"Cast parties" for your series?

On a whim last night, I pulled out the binder for my long-lived Star Trek campaign, and flipped through all the episode synopses my co-gm and I ran over the course of three years. I also found the end-of-season voting sheets we used at each end of season "cast party."

We ran the series as three seasons of 15 episodes each. After each season, we'd get together with good food and drink, and recap the season. Then, we'd hand out ballots and vote on stuff like Favorite Episode, Favorite PC, Favorite NPC, best subplot, best tangent, Best Roleplayer, etc. We'd also play a trivia game based on the season events.

It was a blast. I highly recommend it. Has anyone else done anything like this?

Never done anything like that for any campaign but I've gotten together with the club for general merriment, and we've voted on the year's games in our club fanzine. But that sounds like a good idea, so I'll just steal it.
