    Steam Trek - online

For Sea Tyger and all you other Victorian fans, I ran across this soon-to-be-active online game. Could be fun. I like the ship designs and some of the species illos are pretty neat.

This is great. This is just great. The inspirations are obvious, but this is 100 times better than Space89, 10 times better than Castle Falkenstein (although a bit of CF's magic could be nice too) ... and about just as good as Star Trek ...

    BUT

He really has something against us (us Frenchies of course), doesn't he?

Very cool....not my style of Victorian adventure, but neat nonetheless.

By the way, the title is a bit suggestive ... and there was me thinking "Oh my! And Don has just said 'No sexual content', oh my!" .

It actually looks like a VERY cool setting... seems to be completely "storytelling" in nature, with no game mechanix evident.

I've tried those, and didn't like them much... but the setting and background work is excellent.

Hmmm... if I fiddled with the GURPS SteamPunk and PrimeDirective....

    Alternate universe, anyone?

Well, my first two choices were Armory and engineer, but they seem to be filled. So, he offered me either nav or comms. I took Nav, of course.
