    CODA Fighter

I've got specs on a fighter formatted for Decipher's CODA based Star Trek RPG. It's a simple design and quite easily reproducable as a "stock" fighter for multiple fighters, squadrons, and of course can easily be adapted to a new empire.

The current build is for a federation fighter.

Anyone interested please reply and I'll post up the specs when I get back to school in a day or two.

    Thanks

    scylla class

designed to replace charybdis 's perigrines. this class has the ability to engage veried types of combat from space superiority to heavy bombardment to fire support for ground troops to escort for
convoys. she carries 2 pulse phaser cannons for her main armament, tetryon pulse launchers for ground support,100 micro quantum torpedoes , and under wing hard points can carry 2 tricobalt torpedoes for use on enemy fortifications or 2 pods capable of dropping 200 micro quantum warheads for ground bombardment.her high speed ant tough skin help her to come back from most missions i must note ablative generators were tried on one scylla but the armor wuld not shut off the pilot
had to beam out. by the way the greek myth of charybdis and scylla is where we get the saying caught between a rock and a hard place

Interesting . . . how does this stack compared to the Peregrine?

    Cool

JALU3, you have so few points to work with at size 1 and 2 that it almost doesn't matter. I can send you my Peregrine CODA and the Valkyrie as well, if you like.
Its really just a matter of juggling weapon systems and shields.

...and trying to find some flaws you can use for additional space without totaly ruining the usefullness of the design.

Another thing that can cut into your available space is the warp drive. Using 1 or 2 spaces here gives you warp capability, but won't be much use unless you always cart your fighters around in a carrier.

One of the best ways I have discovered to build a really fast fighter is to classify it as a light (or fast) escort, saving one space each on warp and impulse engines.

Darn this CODA! I long for the days I can design a fighter that can carry true torps & quantums. Nothing like being a small flying half-Akira! (talking about the torp tubes of course)

WHAT DID YOU ALL THINK ABOUT

MY FIGHTER i put the tetryon pulse launcher on board so when theyb are called in to support ground troops they would have wsomething a little more precise with out all the collateral damage of true pulse phaser cannons
. p.s. please ignore my terriblev spelling i had three teeth cut out today and am having trouble spelling on vicoden.
