Our campaigns used GURPS. If we start playing Star Trek again, I'll probably switch to Unisystem.

For Trek (which I just play, and don't run, as a general rule) we've taken to using Coda, now that we were finally able to score a copy of the Narrator's Guide for the GM. Also, I'm running a Coda Lord of the Rings game (as I've mentioned in a couple of threads in the General Chat forum). My group, like many others, have opted for a variety of house-rules to add to our games, but the feel of the system has essentially stayed the same, and for the most part we're satisfied.

When we're not playing either Trek or Lord of the Rings, we bounce between various D20 games, like Star Wars, D&D and now Mutants and Masterminds. Also, we recently got copies of the new Traveller edition, and D20 Modern, so there's lots for us to choose from.

Now, if we could just get a game to last...that'd be something to write about!

We're using the ICON system for Trek. Our D6 Star Wars game just ended and when we pick it up with new characters we will be using the D20 system.

You guys tried to use a file sharing program to transfer files. I thought of that yesterday.. would be able to send any file size.

    just a thought..

For Trek, I am using CODA, however, I recieved a lot of goodies from the White Wolf 6.66 sale from She Who Must Be Obeyed and as I stated on a different thread/different forum, the bright and shiny factor tends to win out. Plus, some of my players are starting to get a bit burnt out on Trek and I think it would be best for the group dynamic that we delve into something else in the near future. Lookin' like a little bit of Vampire in the near future, or maybe some Champions (Star Hero) or something in the d20 line (I am trying to work on some non-level, non-hit point d20 material presently).

As an aside Desslok is also in and out of the Hospital (A bad astmatic with the Flu, I swear he rolled a 3 for his Constitution when his stats were generated ) thus making the search more difficult
    Just to keep you informed

I currently narrate Coda Trek, converted from LUG a while ago. I have played D&D in the past, but found a bit tiring and old, as well as star wars. I haven't played D&D in nearly a year now, and SW for about a few months.
My current game for Coda Trek is titled Star Trek Shadows Of War, and I have not yet brought the RP online, but do plan to. I already have a site ready for it. I was thinking of finishing the first season off before I bring it online. But so far, my first season just refuses to end. God damn it, when the hell will those players decide to just leave the damn aliens alone, and let the season end?!!!!!!!!

I fear I may never know.

I've used the FASA rules since the 1st ed. of the rules, & added a few updates I've found on the web.I've thought about both ICON & CODA as they've been published but my players don't want to learn a new system & I'm confortable with the FASA rules. But I'm adapting a few ideas from the Spacedock book for starship combat.(always hated the FASA starship combat system.)

Surprisingly enough, it looks like I'm going to be running Big Eyes Small Mouth Trek in the near future. The campaign is going to be sort of "The Animated Series" revisioned as an Anime.
I'm going to start them off on "Neo-Shinjuku" as it comes under attack by a Phylosian invasion force. Vulcan clone warriors beam in while a mega-clone of Dr. Keniclius appears, towering over buildings and doing a Godzilla style rampage. Should be a riot.
After that, I'm throwing a Pandronian ship their way, followed by a "rogue planet" that turns out to be a Vedalan world-ship ensnared in a vast Tholian web.

    LUGTrek

Currently, I am running LUGTrek. I love this system. I played FASA back in the day a couple of times, but it just didn't grab me. Of course, I wasn't a big Trek fan until TNG and DS9 came along. Then I was hooked. I snagged LUGs books so I could play in the 24th Century. I think it's unfortunate that Trek has had to suffer through so many incarnations. It seems like a curse for the game. Personally, I love LUG so much, I see no reason to change.

I had been on a one year GMing hiatus, and just fired my Trek game back up. It's a one player game right now, with a Betazed Starfleet Intel officer.

I also am running a Dark Conspiracy game for my kids. Argh! I'm old! I have kids that can play now! I also occaisonally GM a Shadowrun campaign that has been going on for about 10 years now. I used to play Vampire and several other White Wolf games but got burnt out on them. LUGTrek is definitely my favorite gaming system right now. I've been gaming for 20 years, and have played lots of games, and I think LUG had a winner in their system. I plan on playing it for a long time. I just wish I could find more players who like Trek RPGing.....
