The year is 2372. Wolf 359 is now a distant memory, and the Federation is in the process of returning to it's original prestige and power. While our borders are expanding, our relationships with former enemies are fragile at best.While most of our enemies have refrained from active, sanctioned engagements, Anti-Federation sentiments are once again surfacing throughout the quadrant. The most visible is currently from the Klingon Empire, after having withdrawn from the Khitomer accords. Numerous skirmishes, of course denounced by the High Council, have occurred along the Klingon/Federation borders. The Romulan Star Empire, and especially the Tal'Shiar operatives, have also begun testing the Federation. Star Base 14 is strategically located near the "crossroads"; the border of the Federation, Klingon and Romulan territories. Because of it's position it has been selected as the new base of operations for TG192.Peace continues to hang in the balance, and TG192 has been called upon to help preserve that precious commodity, at all costs.

The 192nd Tactical Group is set months before the movie First Contact, the predecessors to Bravo Fleet. It is unknown at present what side the other Alpha quadrant races will take, or how the Gamma quadrant will ultimately affect the situation. Our characters know nothing of a Dominion War, because it hasn't happened. Yet.
