I can't help but tangentially add what I THOUGHT your post was going to be about based on the subject - a Mirror Universe or alternate universe Voyager. The premise that popped into my head was what if Voyager gets flung into the Delta Quadrant...and decide to take it over. Okay, maybe they don't have the manpowwer, but then, they friendly Voyager was pretty crafty about acquiring new technology in our kinder, gentler universe - how much more would they acquire if they were, clever, ruthless, and scheming about it?
Just a thought. I liked Voyager. I wonder how long Neelix would have survived...

Tuvok (with goatee, of course): "Mr. Neelix: your agonizer."
    Neelix: "No, Mr. Tuvok! No!"
    Tuvok: "Your agonizer, please...."

What would an Empire (the Mirror Feds) and Maquis alliance be like? Where would a half-Klingon fit in? I imagine Paris would be a snarly bastitch. I can see Kim in the Agonizer Booth. I wonder if 7 would just take over the ship...Hmm, this is worth looking into...any other ideas? Could be fun!

Oh dear. Images of a kinder, gentler Borg de-assimilation committee ("We're so very, very sorry!") wandering the Delta Quadrant forcibly returning the populace to a state of nature (shades of social contract theory) spring to mind.

    Mirror Voyager...

Look at it like this. The clues are already there.

The leather clad Kes (sort-of) from Warlord combined with the angry older woman and Tanis's group help form the template for the Mirror Ocampa.

In Author Author we see a slightly alternate and slightly crueler crew, including the obligatory Mirror universe Vulcan Beard on thye Tuvok character.

And lastly, we see an out-right evil group of Bastards, and uniform alternative to suit in the incorrect history played in the museum in Living Witness.

A combination of all of the above should give a fair representation of a Mirror universe (at least one mirror universes) Voyager.

Would a half Klingon fit in? Hell Yeah. She would be considered an underclass, and likely to start a mutiny when mistreated. But coming from the Maquis, allows the opportunity of a Terran Empire servant species...

The Maquis (IMO) would be likely to be Terrorists, pure and simple. Pirates after a quick buck, rather than Freedom Fighters for a cause. Likely as not, they would be a Terran Empire tool. Used to spark brush wars with species to destabilise the region for the Terran fleet to come in force to pacify the region. If anything the two groups would be closer than in the normal universe.

Seska woud be interesting, a spy placed by the noble and protective Cardassian Union, trying to find the evidence to proove that the Maquis and the Terran Empire are connected. At least until Lon Suder rose in Janeways Ranks, to become her enforcer, possibly even closer to her than Tuvok (who is a potential rival).

hehehe... Now I want to run this game!

How about The Doc with all those personality subroutines from "Darkling" still installed?

    Spooky!

For my vision of a Voyager-era Mirror Universe, I use the flawed reconstruction from Living Witness.
