    STRPG release schedule!

    Apparently this was added to Decipher's STRPG web page (http://www.decipher.com/startrek/rpg/products/) today. I've omitted the listings for the PG and the NG...

    A four-panel, color, foldout screen containing numerous tables from both the Player's Guide and Narrator's Guide, as well as forms that can be photocopied to record details used to create alien species, creatures, and settings. Also includes a 16-page booklet of additional tables and forms. MSRP: $14.95
    January 2003

    Starfleet Operations Manual
    A 96-page, full-color, hardcover book detailing the history, training, and traditions of Starfleet Academy. Covers technical terms, mission operations, materials and equipment, ships, doctrine, and protocol. A valuable tool for creating Star Trek characters! MSRP: $19.95

    I will believe it when I hold the books in my hands and not a nanosecond before.

    But you knew this.

    Er, 30 to 50? A 20-species difference, and they don't know how many yet?

    First, it's called 'editing process', when they take a lot of meaty stuff out of our beloved future releases and leave us craving for more because they couldn't fit the needed material into the promised amount of pages. Bah.

    At least this schedule goes right with what was said previously here. Very likely to be true, then.

    Ok, let's play the game....

    So that's 23 days at maximum to lay my greedy little hands on the Narrator screen, right ?

    Waiting and counting, then

    You know, I had been impressed so far by the speed at wich RPGs crossed the Ocean. For instance, I think I found the PG in my LGS a mere week after its US release. Then again, things are faster in Paris

    If only series and movies could be that fast to arrive here...

    It's a collectible book. You might get 30, or 37, or 50 or who knows?

    "Hey, I got Vulcans!"

    "Wow, they're ultra rare. I got another Andorian. Damn. I'm going to wallpaper my room with them."

    Wow, this is a great idea!

    "Hey, I'll trade you a Pakled, Vorta, and two Hirogen for a Borg!"

    "No way! Toss in a Species 8472 and you've got a deal!"

    ...
    "A Horta??"

    Kids trading:

    Stan: "I've got Vulcan, Hermat, and Shoe!"

    Cartman: Well, that's nice! But, I'm gonna get a Klingon! He's the coolest! (Looks in the Klingon bucket, but it's empty.) Goddamit! There's no more Klingons! (Meets Kenny who is holding a Klingon) Kenny! Klingon is my favourite! That's the last one! Let me have it! (tries to grab the Klingon from Kenny)

    Kenny: {Uh, uh!}

    Cartman: Mine!

    Kenny: {Mine!}

    Cartman: Mine, Kenny! Let me have it!

    Kenny: {Mine!}

    Cartman: Mine!

    Kenny: {Mine! No! It's mine!}

    Cartman: Mine! Gimmie Klingon! Mine!
