So... the starship book will have 35 ships (excluding shuttlecraft); - IIRC it has been said that the ships found in the NG will be featured; so that gives us 25 new ships-

It's been sometime since I wrote the book (and I'm too lazy to grab the outline ) but most of those are correct.

No Steamrunner, Saber, or Norway--those are all in the Starfleet Operations book. Also, no "Nemesis" ships; movie was in post-production/filming during writing of the book.

Between "Starfleet Operations" and "Starships" just about every Federation ship ever seen gets written up.

Yes, the DY-500 is also done.

I'm a big fan of the TOS stuff, and the old Star Fleet Technical Manual has been showcasing those designs for years now.
Hell the Larson/Hermes even appear on a monitor screen on the Reliant in ST:TWOK so I'd hope someone puts them in...

I am of course am under the opinion that we need a very complete TOS Stand-Alone Sourcebook.

For those of you yunguns who never watched much TOS, the DY-500 was a cargo/transport ship that was an old design still in use in the 2260s. It was strongly based on the DY-100 model, built in the late 20th Century. One such DY-100 was a sleeper ship that carried the Eugenic supermen, led by Khan Noonien Singh.
