    LOTR Guidance Requested

I'm in the middle of developing my first LOTR chronicle, and need a couple things...

    - An online timeline of events for the Third Age

    - Lists of Tolkien quotes and such so that I can come up with a Tolkien-esque title for the chronicle.

Any sites folks can direct me toward?

    I've used this one:

    http://www.glyphweb.com/arda/default.htm

Worked for me, though I don't care much about continuity one way or another.

Can't help you with the quotes though.

The link is a great source, it helps very good and is well sorted.
While maybe not the exactly thing you need, you might take a look at decipher's page, and search the LOTR cards - they have quotes. Another source for inspiration might be the Silmarillion, which gave me great thoughts for a 4rth Age campaign in style of Tolkien. Additionally you can take a look at 'Beowulf'. Tolkien worked on it hard and it influenced his work on the LOTR immensely, e.g. the Rohirrim are ecaxtly the Danes of that book. Meduseld is part of it, e.g.
Feel free to ask me any question you like, if you do not know where else to search, I studied Tolkien a lot and could be of help

    Thanks for the links, folks!

Thanks for the offer, Evan. I don't have any specific questions right now, but as they come up, I'll holler.

Don't forget that there is a general timeline of events of the Third Age in the appendices of The Return of the King. The timeline of the Second Age is also nice.
