Question Admiral's Flagship STAR TREK FIRST CONTACT

Before FIRST CONTACT came out I was reading the magazine "Cinefantisque". There was a picture of a Constitution with the Left warp nacelle burned off. Under it was the caption stating that this was the Admiral's flagship. When the new edition of the Encyclopedia came out I looked in vein for this. Did I imagine things?

Was this a movie era Connie or a TOS era one?

If it was TOS, then it could well be Commodore Matt Deckers USS Constellation, from the episode 'The Doomsday Machine'.

A movie era one, might well be either one of the destroyed USS Enterprise models from Star Trek III (Certainly Admiral Kirks flagship), or perhaps one of the battlefield modles used in Best of Both Worlds (mis-credited)?

    Just a few options?

Talking Constitution refit (The Motion Picture)

The only damage was the burned off left warp nacelle. The strut was intact. I've looked at the Wolf 359 site and I don't see the model in the pictures.

The article was about the making of FIRST CONTACT.

Troi says, "The admiral's flagship has been destroyed."

Well we do not see the Admiral's ship in First Contact, but that may be cut. However I do not believe that it would have been a Constitution - Class for the Admiral, 80 years after that class' decommisioning. I would assume that was simply false info in that magazine.
