I used some percentile dice, either ignoring or reversing results above 80 (92 becomes 29 etc) and I got the following results (minus two that didn't work, but this is otherwise the straight set of rolls, no fudging):
- Alien/Pharmaceuticals/uninhibited: Alien Pharmaceuticals are making people uninhibited on a space station/starship/colony. (Possible running sub-plot or background event)
- R&R/Remote/War: The Crew has opted for R&R on a remote planet without knowing that it is nearby a battlefield where a War has suddenly broken out between two local powers who are themselves little known to the Federation. (The rationale being that if they were better known to the Federation, the planet would not be considered for a R&R spot, also gives that exploration itch a chance to be scratched)
- Well Known/Omnipotent/Time Travel (personal): A Well known human has been sent by an omnipotent being through time (time travel, personal) where they are able to talk to the Crew. (probably a sub-plot or B-side; good if the players have met up with this omnipotent being before or the Players are doing something of relevance to the well known figure -- Ghandi during a Peace Talk mission or something)
- Charisma/Innocence/Prisoner: A charismatic dictator on a small backwater world is holding an innocent (and apparently rather important) person as a Prisoner; the crew have been sent to negotiate for that individuals release. (Alternatively the individual might not really be so innocent, making a nice twist for the players; OR they might not be so important, which leads superiors to tell the PCs to lay off when things heat up requiring a moral choice)
- War/Other Self/Prejudice: In an alternate timeline there is a War, and the players must play the role of their Other Self in a society which has a great deal of prejudice. (obvious links to Mirror-Mirror Universe or similar Alternate Reality)
- Tear jerker/Obsession/Trial: The Players have been sent to deliver a grieving husband to a Federation member world for trial. The grieving husband has killed an Ambassador for that Planet in the Federation Council. The Ambassador was directly the cause of the wife's death and then escaped the crime thanks to diplomatic immunity or a loophole in that world's legal system. The players have been asked to look into the matter by a high ranking official in the Federation, and uncover details about the dead Ambassador's obsession for this man's wife, which might lead to either a defense (under that planets legal code) or a re-examination of the Ambassador's original trial considering this previously concealed and very disturbing new evidence.
- Time travel (general)/Impervious/Mind Control: During a Temporal experiment, an Impervious field of energy traps the Crew inside of the setting (an institute, a specially designed ship/ etc.). Meanwhile one of the Scientists involved with the project has evolved into a 'higher' lifeform with Mind control capabilities. Unfortunately, he has also become derranged and is using this new ability to kill off the others trapped inside of the Institute before they can become similarly 'enhanced'.
