What Did Happen to Cpt. Ben Maxwell

Hi folks!

I am about to start a campaign of TNG. I plan to let it start near the end of the dominion war. And after some time I wanted to play an episode about a (former?) officer of Starfleet who would start a campaign against the defeated Cardassians. Does anybody have any ideas what happened to Ben Maxwell, Captain of the USS Phoenix (TNG "The Wounded") in the aftermath of the war? And BTW has anybody happened to have a Trill Starship Captain in stock for me, which I could "borrow"? :-)

Nobody knows what happened to Ben Maxwell in the aftermath of the Dominion War...

However he would have received over 7 years counseling for his hatred over what the Cardassians 'did to him'...

His actions are still fairly open for you to take him and run with it.

I disagree however that it would be Maxwell himself, but far more likely to be a former Maquis, Possibly ex-Starfleet, who escaped the Jem'Hadar squads that hunted the Maquis down... Maxwell was acting out of revenge over the injustice done him, and while he would be unlikely to fprgive, he was played as sympathetic enough to be the sort who would understand the injustice done the Cardassians when 800,000,000 were killed by the Dominion.
