Sweet. I do have to admit I like the refurbished Constitution class. I've never run a game on one, but it could be cool.

Now if Lego would just get the Trek license....

Really? Why? All my most successful ST RPG campaigns have been set during the TOS Movie Era - though mostly on smaller vessels like Mirandas.

Because all of my players and I prefer the TNG/DS9 era of Star Trek. None of us like Voyager, and none of us are as familiar with TOS than we are with TNG/DS9. We'd be frustrated to go back in time, and miss all the useful technology from later eras.

I've thought about running a movie-era game, but the post-DS9 stories just come too easily to be ignored.

Scale's a bit smaller than the ERTL stuff, but the pics show that they've not made some of the errors: all the 'landing strut' doors are on her saucer, the bridge/officer rec deck looks to have the right angle, and the rec deck windows on the backside of the saucer are there.

Now if the custom decal people will start pumping out stuff for this kit, it'll be great!
