Dark Blue
Okay...this one surprised me. The trailers looked interesting and I had nothing to do today, so I hit the theaters and watched Dark Blue. It was a bloody great flick!
There's no punches pulled. Kurt Russell's character is a monster, but he manages to make him sympathetic (and pathetic) at the same time. There's some of the same stuff we've seen in similar films, but overall, they did a great job with the politics (particularly with the Rodney King background plot). I highly recommned the movie, if only for Russell.
