    New miniatures

Has anyone thought about using these new figures in their battles? They look pretty cool.

    Does anyone even use miniatures?

They look pretty cool. I'll definitely check them out once they're released this summer.

Until then, I'll settle for the LEGO minifigs my group uses.

    Miniatures

I prefer to use minis in my games. GW's line is excellent for this, though there is a lack of generic adventurer type minis.

    Minis...

I am trying to keep my Chronicle more in our heads and less on the tables. We play many tabletop wargames, and I find that my players tend to act more along those lines when they have the scenes laid out before them.

In combat, the players would not have the benefit of seeing the entire battleground when planning their moves anyway!

Now, when Sabertooth games comes out with their tradeable LOTR combat game in December, I will be buying cases!

The fact they will be pre-painted is a major plus. However, if the paint job is poor and the minis are not the same scale as GW's Strategy Battle Game minis then I will not be purchasing them. On the other hadn, they are LOTR merchandise and I am rather weak ...

Does anyone kow of any mini supplier that produces minis that are compatinble scale wise with GW's LOTR range??

    Sabertooth Games

The new game will be 40mm, allowing for more detail, but they will not be compatible with the GW stuff.

And will the quality of the paint job be as poor as the MageKnight stuff?
