Gave it 10... this was a great episode. This episode reminds us that peace doesn't happen simply by sitting around waiting for the other side to concede to you... peace is an active effort by everyone involved. The ratings people on this poll have given it have been good so far, so that's a hopeful sign.

    Solid "7"

I liked seeing K'Ehler again. So, she's blue... or not aging well...
I liked a bit more history of Gary Grahams' character.

I dislike seeing Vulcans, simply because there are few actors who can play the part well, and even less who can make it unböring. I like Gary Graham, and I like seeing Archer making him roll his eyes, but it's still out of context for vulcans. and a chorus of Elves with Beatles wigs in the background chanting "It's not Logical, no no no It's not logical..." doesn't help.

Liked it. Plakston's makeup, however, was not very kind to her. Overall, I think they should pursue the Andorian/Vulcan thing more. And get the Tellarites in there...

    Thumbs up

That was by far the best episode that I have seen for Enterprise and I am one of those that really likes the series. I can't wait to see how they play the Romulan-Earth war in season 6.

I liked the episode very much. It was tense, though partly predictable. The end was the best - not only reminded it me of the end of DS9 it also gave a glimpse at what we United Federation of Planets means. I actually like it very much that Andorians and Vulcans do not like each other that much. That makes UFP an even greater achievement and gives the Vulcans a 'less' developed touch.

BTW the Romulan-Earth war matter, is that real or only rumors concerning season 6?

I gave it a 7 on the strength of Coombs' usual riveting performance. If the story had been less predictable and more innovative, I'd have rated it much higher.

I gave it a six, unfortunately the general lackluster way Ent has been handled has coloured my view. They will have to come up with a series of smashing eps to get a higher rating from me.

On the good side I begin to like the characters of Commander Shran and Ambassador Suval.

I still find the Vulcans very warlike for a people known for their pacifism, however.

I gave it an 8. It should have been 10 but for the predictability of Suzie´s character

She played Khey´ler (sp ?) during the Worf vs. Klingon Empire arc. Suzie´s character is the mother of Alexander. Khey´lar was half Klingon, her human character being dominant. She was killed by Duras, who was then challenged and killed by Worf in single combat, thus making posible the rise of Gowron to Chancellor.

She also played the Vulcan Dr. Selar, auxiliary MD to Dr. Crusher in a single episode of TNG (can´t remember the name), though the character is refered to by internal comm in another episode.

I only caught the last half of the episode (!$%# daughters' DVD $*&!!), but I still thought it was very good. I've never really had problems with Soval, and I've really become a fan of Jeffrey Coombs' portrayal of Shran. Even with half an episode, I rate it an 8. I definitely look forward to more Vulcan-Andorian stories.

I liked this episode, anything that shows that they still have ground combat is cool to me.
I could tell that the female Andorian second in command was a little gung ho at the beginning, but it didn't keep me from watching it.
Plus we get a little background on Soval, and Shran's just too cool.
So I gave this a 9, it's one of the best episodes I've seen this season, I hope they can keep the story quality up.
