Has anyone had an Elaysian in their game

    Hello,

In an RPG game I am creating, I would like to have and Elaysian as one of the PCs. I think this race was only seen in 1 episode of Deep Space Nine. The name of the episode escapes me, but it had to do with an Elaysian female Science officer that was confined to a wheel chair because her planet's gravity is alot weaker than mosts, so when she leaves her world she need the chair as a support frame.
anyways, there isn't any thing about them in the NG or PG and its doesn't look like there will be anything about them in the new book coming out, so do you have any suggestions on how to create a character like this that won't have to be totally redone if sometime in the future about that is mentioned in a book? thanks for your help.

You should ask Perryyyyyyy; if I remember correctly he adores Elaysians and plays them in Trek.

I haven't made a CODA Elaysian template, but I'd figure they'd have a reduced Vitality stat and something like weak in anything but their native environment.

In ICON terms (you'll have to convert to CODA if that's what you're running) I'd give them:

    Fitness: 1 [3]
    Strength: -1
    Coordination: 2 [5]
    Intellect: 2 [5]
    Perception: +1
    Presence: 2 [5]
    Empathy: +1
    Psi: 0 [5]

    Skills:
    Athletic Ability (Acrobatics) 1 (2)
    Culture (Elaysian) 2 (3)
    History (Elaysian) 1 (2)
    Language (Elaysian) 2
    World Knowledge (Elaysia) 1 (2)

    Disadvantages:
    Physical Impairment (Gravity Intolerant) -2

    Advantages:
    Curious +1
    Excellent Balance +1
    Medical Remedy (Antigrav Harness) +2
    Zero Gee Training +2

The episode was called Melora. Ensign Melora Paslar needed the chair only on DS9 - on Federation ships and bases, and on planets, Elaysians normally use antigrav harnesses to allow them to operate in full gravity, but Cardassian artificial gravity generators are incompatible with Elaysian antigrav harnesses, forcing her to rely on a much lower-tech solution.
