Im curious how poseur helps in making these images as well?
is there a step by step example of the process for photoshop7/poser that we can see?
I'd LOVE to do this stuff for my TOS-era game.
Poser is used to make the body with uniform to match the celebrity head you have chosen.
There is a tutorial at the STPMA (using Poser 4 and Paint Shop Pro).
Also I am sure you can direct any questions about comissions to our people over there
Everyone is welcome
Here's a challenge to all of the computer artists who want to do something difficult. The captain in my campaign wears a TNG-style captain's uniform, looks like actor Michael Ironside, and (here's the tricky part) he's Andorian.
Any takers?

Sarge find a nice clean image of Michael ironside and head over to the STPMA, I bet someone would take you up on the challenge
Could you be more specific Aslan? I can't seem to find it there :~( ...Originally posted by AslanC

One minor nit pick and I could be wrong but don't Bajorans wear their ear-wear exclusively on their left ear. If I am wrong I apologize.Originally posted by AslanC
This may be on purpose ... à la Ro Laren ... or maybe it's just a mistake, but hey, who cares when you've got eyes like those looking at you?

Ro Laren wore hers on the right IIRC.

Madworld, Donnie Darko.
She definitely wore it on her left and our right. I just watched that episode on DVD
Well, but that was before she transfered to DS9 relaunch, you know?

I don't read much so am not familiar with any of the book series. Either way though there is an inconsistency somewhere
No, no, she did it purposefully to show that she was an atheist ... and to keep those pesky Vedeks from grabbing her ear to feel her pagh (yeah, right!). She may have decided to do so later on, for instance when she joined the Maquis ...

So at first she wore it on her left and then when she joined the Maquis wore it on her right?
That's my guesstimate ... FWIW.
As for the photomanip, my take is that the artist just happened to have a picture of Milla with her right ear visible and decided it was no good to draw the earring on the left ear cause nobody would be able to see it .
