My thoughts are with Jeff's family and friends in their time of sorrow. I spent a few moments going through the page that the Long Island Gamers established for him: to have so much from so many he must have been an extrordinary kind of person. I am sorry that I never got to know him.

Spent the weekend at I-Con 22 at the University of Stony Brook, New York where Jeff was involved as a staff member. Didn't feel the same without him. A bunch of friends got together in a sorta Memorial dinner on Sat night near the convention. IF any good can be said to have come from this, it's the fact that i've re-conntacted some friends I have not seen in a while. I doesn't balance the scales by a long shot

The funeral service was quite nice with quite a few people (Both relitives and friends) giving remeberances.

Well i don't know what else there is to say.

All my empathy at this tough time man, people often forget hoe hard it is on those who live on.

You will never fill the emptiness but the dark feeling and giant suck that it is will eventually dull and the good memories will remain.

And it sounds like Jeff provided you with many of them.

If it helps you can always share your fav stories with us, help us get to know him as well

Though I think we will all understand if it is too soon too.

    In time perhaps.

One thing right off the bat is that he was the only other person in my gaming group who has been around as long as me and could comeserate(sp) on all the F'ed up stuff we had experianced.

    Oh and one other thing

Jeff and I were the only Mets Fans in the group

(For those of you who don't follow major league baseball or are outside the USA, The Mets and the Yankee's are our 2 teams and have a long rivalry)

May his spirit now travel were his imagination once led him, and beyond.

    My condolences.

You taught me how to be a better GM by not putting something in every room. You taught me how to be a better player by forcing me to use a diceless system. But the most important thing you tought me was, everyone needs a friend, even you.

    Farewell Desslok

My family's prayers and wishes go with all who knew him and his family.

I hope he finds a center seat waiting for him in the afterlife....and peace for those he leaves behind.

Didn't know him. Didn't even know he'd died until just now (not a regular in this forum). Somehow, that seems a shame, now.

Maybe we should all stop once in awhile to really interact with those around us...because we have no idea what they might have to teach us...

My sincere condolences (albeit very tardy ones)...
