    Upcoming ENT Episode: "Bounty"

    This is from startrek.com:

When Roxann Dawson began her Enterprise directing career last season, she oversaw the revival of a race first introduced in the Original Series episode "Journey to Babel" — the Andorians. Now she's done it again, this time with a species mentioned several times in the show but not seen until now, the gruff and argumentative Tellarites.

"Bounty" picks up on the events of "Judgment" (airing April 9) whereby Captain Archer is considered a fugitive from the Klingon justice system. He is abducted by a Tellarite bounty hunter who intends to hand him over to the Klingons for a substantial reward. Meanwhile in a "B" storyline, T'Pol has returned from an away mission infected with an alien pathogen that is unleashing her ... shall we say ... "primal" Vulcan urges.

Oh, great. The main plot sounds good- it expands on the Tellarites, who were only seen once in TOS I think.

But as for the B-plot... it was bound to happen sometime, I suppose. I'm sure the Paramount marketing department will have a field day with this one.

To be precise, A Tellarite has been seen on 3 occations in TOS

As a sorta main character in "Journey to Babel"

    And as backround characters in:

    "Whom Gods Destroy"

and in the Federation Council Chambers in "Star Trek 4"

Probably at the end, in the Federation Council Halls, when Kirk gets demoted to captain. There were a lot of strange aliens in that scene... my favorites were the ones with weird masks that made gibbering noises.

There's a good site on the net that has great screen caps and reviews of the aliens from that council chamber sequence in ST IV.

I'll try and remember to post the link when I get online tonight.

Tellarites sound great. It will be interesting to see how they develop in future ENT spisodes.Gav (Journey to Babel) was pretty cool. And I don't think I would mind seeing T'pol get "primal".

...and justa s confirmation, there's this from darkhorizons (a pretty well-respected film news site):

Enterprise (TV): A 'Tellarite' character, the first time the race has been represented since the original 60's series, will appear in the upcoming episode "Bounty". Much like the Andorians, the make-up has had some big updates.

All I can say is: Finally! I really like the make-up reworking of the Andorians, so hopefully they'll make a habit of it.

Big deal. NYPD Blues had a scene in which a woman exposed herself in front of a boy as she was getting ready to shower.

It would impress me if we have at least one butt shot on Trek.

True enough... but what I meant by the comment about the marketing department was that they'll use maybe a three-second shot of T'pol unclothed or something and make that the focus of the entire episode preview... the way they did with Archer's "repressed sexual tension" in the preview for "A Night In Sickbay..." which I thought was going to be a terrible episode just because of the way they marketed it. But it turned out to be a very funny one.
