Ordered Starships through nobleknight. Let you know how it goes.

Decipher charged me 25 times for one book, corp; screwed me bad 'cause I was out on a business dinner & my bank account was locked. Then they were not overly helpful in correcting it. Eventually, they did and gave me the book free; which is the only reason I'm still buying their stuff...just not from them directly.

I read your thread about the matter just after it happend, qerlin. Sounded like quite the fiasco. While it was probably just a computer glitich and not an act of deliberate Decipher malice, I can't help but understand how frustrating the whole matter was to you. Good luck with future online purchases. All in all, despite a few obvious typos and omissions as wll as the products high price, the Starships book has been an entertaining purcahase.

I can recommend FRP Games for those who do not have FLGS nearby. His discount usually covers shipping (and, depending on the product, sometimes it's better than that).

I've placed several orders with him. It usually takes a day or so for him to ship, and then it's however long media mail takes -- typically seven postal days for me, since I'm on the East Coast and he's on the West Coast. Every order has been delivered in about the same time, with the correct merchandise (in one case, one item was out of stock, so it went by separate cover at no additional charge).

Wouldn't Dream Wizards be close? (I'm planning on stopping there later today...)

Why would this book be more than the core books?

Now if only Decipher would be so kind as to put it on their online shop

They send really fast; I want to order from them in order not to wait for ages to receive my book.

[bitch mode on]
What the h*** is this communication policy? They publish a book and say nothing of it on their site? They don't have it on their online shop?
[bitch mode off]

Sorry for the bitching, but I've waited so long for this book, I'm enraged at not being able to order it conveniently.

You may resume your normal activites

No, KW -- you're right. Plain and simple.

Canadian

Anybody know of a good place in Canada to order it from?

I paid way to much when I ordered from Decipher directly.

 Mean, mean Don, he's taunting me! I don't have any US retailers near home, as I'm living in this godforsaken country they call France...

I have to resort to Decipher ordering...

Lightbulb

I've already heard of people in the UK getting their copies. Hell, even my FLGS in backhole Utah had six today. It strikes me that there should be plenty of avenues to get the product right now (or in short order) without having to rely on Decipher.
