    Hi

Just joined up with this outfit, seems to be what I was looking for and just wanted to introduce myself as it seems I will be posting here regularly. I looked at TrekBBS but the amount of traffic and frankly "scarry" poster over there made this place look real good.

I have played RPG's for most of my life, last regular game I played was back in College (FASA until a new GM wanted to use GURPS and wanted everything his way and my group of three and half years broke apart.)

I like all Sci Fi, and as far as trek is concern TOS, DS9 and Enterpsie is the top. Voyager Sucked! and TNG was way too much of a panzy for me to ever really like whole heartedly.

Also like History especially Cavalry/Indian Wars as well as most of the 19th century.

    Well looking forward to post.

Welcome and don't worry about the mental state of some of the posters here.

After some time here you'll be like them

OK, but hey my mental stability has always been in question anyways, remember the scene in a Christmas Story were the kid Stuck his tongue to the flag pole? Well I am a shame to admit it but I tried it (without being dared) and it does happen as showed, trust me. Luckily the teacher or school never called the Fire Company the nurse was able to handle it.

May I ask What is an IBG?

    Hey Dogsoldier!

Allow me to welcome you in the name of the "Down Under" posters! Myself, Sir Sig and Polanski are those that spring to mind...though there may well be others I've forgotten (and I do apologise! )

One thing Liz forgot to mention (not surprising, really... )

Styro's polls should be avoided at all costs by those who do not wish to have their sanity well-and-truly shattered!

    PS: Styro...you haven't posted a "Styro Poll" for a while...what's up, I'm missing them!

19th C historian here, too. Welcome.

    Talking Dogsoldier?

You're not one of the mad Scottish werewolves that decided to butcher a number of British soldiers that were on manoeuvres in Scotland?

I think Aslan will know where this comes from!

I am your local Enterprise Lover/Voyager Historian. I LOVE Voyager and Enterprise, TNG is also very good. TOS is mediocre. Although I like the movies

Never seen DS9. Oh yea I am 15 and people really do question my sanity because I should be out with friends now but I'm not

Gotta love any group like this...

    UT!

Welcome to the boards and may you learn the many tiny rules, like which threads start LONG discussion, year after year after year

As others have said, have fun. That's ultimately what it is all about!

Welcome, and always obey the IBG. Just a warning.
