You could take 'Nebulae Nostrum', or 'Stellarii Nostrum', but i'm just making up those words because they sound 'astro'.
Gawd, I've never thought I'd be using astro as a word!

OOPPS! Sorry I misread that. I thought it said "Mare Noctrum". I think Mare Nostrum does mean our sea, or something close to it.
I think Jus Gladii would make a great episode title.![]()
Yes I agree, but not for this episode...maybe a later episode where COmmander Cyricus Plautus has some sort of legal thing to deal with...in fact you just gave me an idea! Thanks!Originally posted by Kaiddin

I am not sure if it's a good idea to have the ship allready in the loop when the PCs return. If done that way they will be able to scan the whole ship from the outside and get a lot of information early on.Originally posted by Captain Zymmer
19 "Time, and Time Again" - Based on an amalgamation of "Underdogs" by Dan Gurden and "A Time for Exploration" by Lancer. In this adventure, the players will put their normal characters aside and play lower decks characters returning from a shore leave. They discover the ship locked in the temporal loop...will these juniour officers save the day?
When we ran that episode half the fun (for me that is) was watching the players stumble around the ship trying to figure out what the situation was and what options they had.
Hey Zymmer,
I'll try to be mature about it and accept that you can change my scenario idea. So how would you play out "The Prime Directive Syndrome."
I promise not the sulk, moan, flamemail or e-mail you a killer virus. I swear.

One way I want to do it is have another PC play her older character who would be the Captain responsible...
But not sure...gonna flesh it out later
Will let you know jsut as soon as I do, but would involve relocating a primitve species or some such.
Thanks Rox, you come through for me again...sheesh...I'm gonna have to give you a kidney soon, and the other one is going to BrianK so I am in trouble...Originally posted by Roxby

It'll have to be a series of Prime Directive violations - the idea of the scenario was to show how ridiculous the Prime Directive but also that violating it like Kirk did on a regular basis might not be the best idea.
What should be made clear is that to violate the Prime Directive might save a society in the short run but in the long run might destroy it but in the long run, the damage caused to the society might destroy it too...
Well my thought was that she has been arrested, court martial and sentenced for her Prime Directive violations...then her loyal command crew steal her ship, bust her out so they can save this pet species...
The PCs get sent after her.
Shouldn't it be Astrii Nostrae, the academy motto being 'Ex Astris (from the stars) Scienta'?
