STARSHIP TRAITS: Limited Payload Flaw (Missiles, TN8)

The Valkyrie was designed to be a lighter, faster fighter with better shields and sensors than the older Peregrine design. There has been some debate in tactical circles about the ability of a single pilot to handle all of the ship's tasks and actual combat has confirmed those fears. It takes an exceptional fighter pilot to master the Valkyrie systems, even with onboard computer assistance. The Valkyrie has seen limited deployment, but those who fly it swear they wouldn't fly anything else.

(The Valkyrie is not a canon ship, despite being the 'star' of the computer game Star Trek: Invasion. That game also included a carrier- the Typhon-class. I choose to include a flight of Valkyries as part of the fighter complement on an Akira. I'll leave it to others to convert over the Typhon.)
