    Starships has arrived! :)

Greetings All! Just wanted to inform you of a piece of luck I had today. Went to a game store I frequent to see if they had the Starfleet Operations Manual(which they did) and as I was checking out the cashier informed me they had just got in the new Starships book. Of course I grabbed it immediately and scampered home. When I have a bit more time I'll give it a through reading and post a review.

    Cheers,
    Warren aka WMB

    WOOOHOOO!!!

I have to say this, Decipher is really making up for last year's delays .

Well for those of you near to Baltimore, the store is Alternate Worlds in Cockysville, off York Road in I believe the Yorkridge shopping plaza. Hope your luck is as good as mine was!

    Angry Just Freakin’ GREAT…

Another book my LGS’s ‘distributor’ won’t know is out…

NOTE TO JESSE/DOUG: Get the book(s) solicited/re-solicited in Previews and/or Game Trade magazines so those on/with Diamond Dist. or Alliance Games CAN GET THIS STUFF...sorry, but this getting annoying…feel like I'm falling through the cracks...

(The next Previews will be out in about three weeks, and I’ll bet ‘Aliens’ isn’t in it, even though it’s ‘close’ to complete)
...and that's about the time it hit the fan...

    Truisms I know:
    1) Marvel is NOT better than DC (nor should EVERYTHING be ‘ULTIMITED’),
    2) D20 is NOT the best gaming system out there (nor should EVERYTHING be ‘crammed’ into it),
    3) And No matter how ‘THEY’ dress it up, Regardless of how ‘THEY’ title it, and even if ‘THEY’ say “BASED ON…”; “ENTERPRISE” IS NOT STAR TREK!!!
    4) 'Reality' T.V. ain't 'Real'

Are you unable to order online?

Great to hear Starships is out! I'll have to hit my FLGS and pick up a copy!

    I Got It Yesterday 4/8/03

Arrived at FLGSes in the Minneapolis St. Paul area (Phoenix Games, Source Comics & Games) yesterday. Just happy happenstance!

Looks great... not too much nitpicking yet with errata. More later?

Haven't got mine yet, but Leisure Games tell me it's in stock, and my order is in hand. Should have it within a day or so.

Well, Starships must be out because my LGS has one, and they never seem to get anything until everyone else has it.

Not that you would know the book is out by checking Decipher's web site. But that's a rant for another time

    Now where IS my checkbook...

    Amazon.com

I believe you can also purchase it at Amazon.com. You can at least add it to your cart.

And even if it was, I don't don't know that I want to try ordering through them again after the disaster they made of it last time.

figure I won't get it...my LGS is more than worthless and none of the online game stores either have it or will come up online.

Ah, well...that's what Decipher gets for not pushing the line more.
"War is an ugly thing but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

What happened? I can't think of anybody who has had a problem with the online store. Well, except for you I guess.

At the risk of sounding like I am going out of my way to plug this online store, I will recommend it once more.

Nobleknight.com has Starships. I have order many things from them in the past and have never had a problem. Additionally, they give a discount which almost covers shipping. Given that, and the fact that you don't pay tax (unless state laws apply), it is about the same you would pay in a regular store.
