couple of questions

1. does any one have the white character sheets on file anywhere? I tried to print off the copy i have out of the SOM but couldn't get all of it to copy.

2. has anyone ever run a game based off a book. for example, I I have readthe book "Vendetta" several times and thought about turning that book into a game just to see how my friends to work certain events. another book I have thought of trying is the Invasion series: First Strike.

I've included the events of certain novels into my history but never directly ran one. Though one group of PCs did encounter the Manga Roman ship from "Captain's Honor".

"Vendetta" is one of the novels I have included in my timeline. I have enjoyed it several times.

No, Clue what sheets you are talking about. I do use Don's Form PDFs. They calculate some of the needed information automatically for you. The Thread is this:

I am putting together a post Dominion Game and I am using many of the Deep Space Nine Novels that have come out recently to help in the inspiration of my game. These are the Deep Space Nine: Avatar Mini Series, Deep Space Nine- Section 31: Abyss , Mission Gamma Mini Series are all back bones to my game. I am also using Peter David's New Frontier Series as well. Peter David's work in general is great background for Star Trek as you can see with Vendetta. Imzadi and Imzadi II are great for Betazoids.
I have not stopped there. I have actually chosen non Star Trek books to help with my game.
Stardoc Series by S.L. Viehl is absolutley perfect for coming up with medical ideas for you Doctor PC and for the game. The writer is not dull and is in the Medical Field.
I am also taking ideas from various other sources as well for my game. Spy Masters Robert Ludlum, Tom Clancy and Dale Brown books and ideas can be adapted to a Trek game.
I use alot of ideas. So nothing is wrong using books at least my opinion.
