Well yeah, it was the saucer looking house when they were crashed on a planet. The ship from the T.V. series would fit in on a Original series Trek campaign set during the 2260's. The from the movie would be apropriate during TNG era series campiagns. These ships make great window dressing for spaceports.

in the dominion war video game had 2 phaser arrays on the saucer section ,8 pulsephaser cannons facing forward,2 forward quantum torpedo tubes and 8 micro torpedo tubes on its back capable of firing laterally with micro quantum torpedoes in a rapid fire setting. so i say change the rules to fit your game. by the way this ship can be found in several mods for starfleet command 3 it is a really kick butt kind of ship
