    North Paws and South Paws?

OK, I'll bite. What do you mean 'North and South' Klingons? Bear in mind if it isn't in the episodes you will pretty much guarantee its not going to be in the books...

When asked what the official explanation was for the Klingons cosmetic differences between TOS and ST:TMP Gene Roddenberry said it was the difference between "Northern " and "Southern" Klingons.Jokingly.

    Talking

I like to add the Klingon Songs on the Great Tribble Hunt!

Seriously I hope this is successful so Romulan, Cardassian and Dominion Sourcebooks are not that far in coming too!

Oh and nother thing for the list: Why Klingon love Shakesphere!?
    Hey my opinion

Without Star Trek: The Original Series there would be no other Trek Series or Movies regardless of shows rewriting the Series past.

    Klingon Honor

    A warrior does not cheat.
A warrior does not take prisoners.
A warrior does not allow himself to be taken prisoner.
    A warrior proclaims himself loudly.
A warrior does not use poison, or kill from behind.
    A warrior does not surrender.
    A warrior dies standing up.

Now here is a small list of curses and insults (all though I don't have many of the translations)

(Note: you might need to add the Klingon word SoH (you) before the insults)

    pujwI' (weakling)
    verengan Ha'DIbaH (Ferengi dog)
    yIntagh ((epithet)
    'urwI' (traitor)
ghuy' (Klingon curse, more colorfull then dang)
ghuy'cha' (far worse than "Darn it!")
mu'qaD veS (noun, to curse warfare )
    petaQ (epithet)
    toDSaH (epithet)
tugh ("hurry up!" OK so it's not a curse or an insult but you could add it with one)
Sa'Hut (butt, rear end, buttocks... you get the point, this is were you add SoH)
    taHqeq (epithet)
QI'yaH (one of the strongest, most foul Klingon expressions; it defies translation)
    Qovpatlh (epithet)
Qu'vatlh (Klingon curse said in moments of extreme anger)

Hope you like them I went through my entire colection of Klingon words... I think I got them all.

    Slowly working on it

So you want Klingons do ya...well I've been independently working on and searching for information for a while now, one problem - IT'S ALL IN ICON

a starchart --- Been in the process for a while. Based more on Gut feeling more than any thing else, derived from FASA.

a map of Qo'nos --- Never thought of that.

Klingon planets --- Just the basic information or what?

Klingon subject races --- I have a working list numbered at 10 current and former subjects

Klingon creatures --- Odd timing, I just started working on one last night, little process so far.

Klingon ships --- How many do you want, May I suggest looking at some of the Spacedock netbooks.

Klingon sectors --- Sectors...how Federation, I've been mapping out Klingon space more free form. Think the political boundaries in Europe, as far as I see there's not a straight line anyplace.

Relations with neighboring powers --- I haven't thought about the specifics but I have thoughts on the matter.

History --- I have a time line, that works for my needs.

    Physiology --- Nothing here yet.

Klingon Houses --- Talk to Bouncy Catian, I think he has some information there.

Klingon characters --- Nothing here yet.

Klingon society --- Nothing here yet.

Klingon government --- Nothing here yet.

Klingon equipment --- Working on that.

Klingon-only Development packages --- Nothing here yet.

Klingon martial arts --- Several styles, Icon rules though.

Klingon fleet composition --- Look to Daystrom Institute to begin extrapolations

An explanation of the difference between "northern" and "southern" Klingons --- Komerex Klingons and Dexi-Klingon do a search on line, there are plenty of explanations, none are canon so take your pick.

For other data, check out Owen's IKV nomghar campaign, there are also three chapters from the unreleased RPG book "Blood and Honor" floating around. There's plenty of information out there on the Net, you just need to filter through it for non-contradicting, usable material.

Useful Klingon Links, as noted above - remember, this is all written for ICON so you;ll have to convert for CODA:

My ICON Star Trek: nonghar pages, with some of my thoughts on Klingons and the Klingon adventure LUG supposedly ran at Gencon and Origins in their final days: http://www.coldnorth.com/owen/game/s...ar/nomghar.htm

Steve Kenson's Star Trek, the Lost Episodes, including Chapters 2 and 8 of the LUG Klingon book: http://members.aol.com/talonstudio/treks/

    S. John Ross's Untaken Treks, including the chapter Narrating in Klingon: http://www.io.com/~sjohn/untaken.htm

Last Unicorn Games' ICON Links for Blood and Honor: The Klingons - scroll down to the middle of the page - they're the last two links under Product Previews: http://www.coldnorth.com/memoryicon/...s/iconlink.htm
