Hello all,

I've just discovered this message board, after spending a lot of frustrated hours on the official DEG RPG board. I have to say, after perusing your messages, I am reinvigorated towards playing the LOTR RPG!

It was starting to feel distressing reading through all the postings on the other board, hoping to find a bit of info on upcoming products. But then all I ever seemed to get wer disgruntled consumers kvetching about slight errors in new books, arguing over the minutae of a point here, an edge there...

Anyway, I look forward to reading over your posts, and hopefully becoming a valuable member of your community in the future.

Welcome, Ben! While many of the same posters are here and at the Dec boards, we're generally a little less negative here.

Welcome. Granted, the over-all vibe here is pretty positive, there's always room for improvement. LotR / Decipher and the admins here are pretty good at getting information out to the users + we've got a lot of DMs on the board with ideas galore about how to make adventures and campaigns run as excitingly and smoothly as possible.
