This kinda grew out of my Napoleonic thread in general chat. I used the System template from ICON to make up England as it would have appeared around the early 18th through 20th century in a sci fi setting. I used place names as best as I could guess from various books and would take any suggestions on improvements.

System Type: Type G Single star
Inhabited Planets: Wessex Prime (Class L); Dorset (Class L)
Other Planets: 7
Other Stellar Objects: n/a
Artificial Objects: Plymouth Station, a medium sized commercial station & minor shipyard in orbit above Wessex Prime. Weymouth Station a commercial station also known for its recreation facilities is in orbit above Dorset

The Sussex System
System Name: Sussex
Affiliation: The United Kingdom of Systems
System type: Type G Single Star
Inhabited Planets: Sussex Prime (Class M) and Kent (Class L)

Portsmith Station in orbit above the small Planet of White (Class D) is the UKoS’s main naval port. Southampton Station meanwhile also in orbit above the Planet of White is the main commercial port. Dover Station in orbit above Kent is a moderately sized commercial port with a minor military station.
SIS: Without doubt the Sussex system is one of the most important economic, commercial and military centers of the UKoS as well as being the system located nearest the French Sector.

Artificial Objects: Yarmouth Station a relatively minor commercial and recreation station in orbit above East Anglia.
SIS: A mainly agricultural producing system the Essex system is known to have some of the most beautiful vistas in the UKoS.
London System

Other Planets: 7
Other Stellar Objects: n/a
Artificial Objects: n/a
SIS: The Birmingham System is relatively void of any value save for the agricultural resources it has developed however some industry has begun to develop on Birmingham.
Cornwall System
System Name: Cornwall
Affiliation: United Kingdom of Systems
System Type: Single Type A Star
Inhabited Planets: Cornwall Prime (enclosed domes & subterranean living spaces) (Class D)
Other Planets: 3
Other Stellar Objects: the resource valuable Dartmoor and Exmoor asteroid belts
Artificial Objects: Falmouth Station in orbit above Cornwall was once the main starport for ships coming and going toward the New Systems.
SIS: From here ships first jumped into the great unknown of the Atlantic expanse to explore and found new systems
