    Empok Nor RPG Information Thread

    Okay this thread is the place where I will post the information about th game and answer questions.

    Okay here is the fast and dirty outline...

    Era - 24th Century (years 2380 - ?)
    Region: Alpha Quadrant, Cardassian Space.
    Traveling: Starship, shuttles/Runabouts, transporters, turbo-lifts and foot power

    CREW
    Organization: Station Administration & Population
    Missions: Diplomatic, Defense, Rescue, Intrigue & Mystical
    Composition: Multi-Species (Human, Klingon, Vulcan, Trill, Ferengi, etc...) and Multi-Profession (Starship officers, soldiers, merchants, rogues, entertainers, mystics)

    Base Type: Empok Nor, refurbished Cardassian Ore Processing Station

    TECHNOLOGY
    Era Technology: 24th Century
    Available Technology: Starfleet, Cardassian & various other tech

    Threat And Opposition: Tzenkethi, Talarians, Orion Syndicates, Pirates, Romulans, Klingons, Ferengi (minor), Cardassians (minor) and others by episode

    I realize I haven't got an accurate count of who is still in and who has lost interest. This is mostly due to the whole chaos that occured in my life recently.

    Can I get a sound off of those who are in please.

    Question A question for Aslan

    Aslan, IIRC you said in the other thread that the station will have been operational for about 6 months when the game starts, correct?

    If so, will our characters have been on the station for some time before the game starts or just arriving or something in between?

    If some of the characters know each other before the game starts, would it make sense for those players to share some of their character's background with those who would have had time to get to know them?

    If you say "yes" then maybe we could set this up ourselves without you having to spent too much time 'supervising' us.

    Erm, so what's the story Aslan? It's been pretty quiet on the forum game front. Not wanting to be pushy, but is there any progress to report, or are we stuck in a holding pattern over O'Hare?
