Thread: Inventor

    Inventor

    Hi.

Dunno if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't see it in the official errata.

I was trying to create an Inventor and, when looking at the prerequisites, stumbled across the Inventor edge, which is not anywhere in the book.

Is this referring to the Innovative edge? Am I just losing my eyesight?

    Thanks.

    E

I believe it's just a typo - just ignore it. The edge doesn't exist.

    Isn't it in the errata?

IIRC, you should replace it with the 'Thinker' edge. And it should be in the errata: check the Sticky topics on top of this forum.

Actually, or I should say unfortunately, this hasn't been covered in the Errata. Personally, I use Thinker in my own game, but I'll double-check with Jess to see what he thinks...

Dredging this up from the past, Doug...did you ever get a response from Jess on this one? It's been brought up in my "What's broken?" thread over on Decipher's forums, so I'm adding it to my list of things to look over. This thread that Don replied to seems to back you up; I'm just wondering if Jess ever replied.

    Thanks.

Nope. Never did get a response from Jesse. IO'd suggest either dropping it or using the Thinker edge...

Well, I think in this case I'll go with Don's suggestion in that other thread, and add it to my list of errata that I'm putting together. Thanks for the quick verification.
