So that would mean no new spells?Paths of the Wise: The Guide to Magicians & Loremasters
This 96-page full-color, hardcover book includes details on the magician and loremaster orders, including new professional abilities, skills, traits, and elite orders.
I guess that is good news for us purists.
Actually...in a previous designer's weblog, Jeff Tidball has this to say:Originally posted by Meneltin

Last week also saw the text for the Magician/Loremaster order book (which will be called 'Paths of the Wise') finished and sent to the licensors for their approval. This is, in my opinion, a fantastic book positively crammed with game material for both players and Narrators. The playtest manuscript garnered the best initial response from the playtesters of any manuscript to date. Although some of them will be chagrined to discover that a write-up of Radagast did not make the final cut, you'll see rules for books, libraries, herb-lore, detail on creating enchanted items, 50 new spells, and a host of new edges, flaws, order abilities, and so forth. Doug Sun, who has worked on the Star Trek RPG line in the past, wrote Paths of the Wise from cover to cover. You can look forward to more of his work on the LotR RPG line in the future.

Will take a close look at the Isengard book, and probably be hard placed not to purchase the Rohan book. The Fields of Battle book sounds interesting as well.
I am most excited about Rohan: Among the Horse-lords.
Boy, that Cities and Strongholds 2 book looks really really cool! I think everyone should get it because it looks so cool!

As am I. I'd love to have at least one RPG out there with realistic horse rules.Originally posted by Jason Durall
