I am not sure, but it looks like they have decided to reduce the price for 200 pages books from $35 to $33. Good idea in my opinion since that $5 increase after the PG and NG seemed pretty arbitrary to me. I'll definitely buy Klingons and Peacekeepers, I don't belive I will ever have any use for a mirror universe book.

Nay. They've got it down for this month, along with Worlds (although I wouldn't care to lay coin on whether they're actually going to manage to get the two out within thirty days of each other), Mirror Universe in August, Blood, Guts and Honor in Sept., and Soldiers and Diplomats come October. There's still no date for the Limited Edition, and I suspect that, as Fall arrives, Decipher will be gearing up for the last massive push with LotR, and that's the last Trek RPG material we'll see until sometime in '04.

Just a hunch.

Upcoming Trek releases

Creatures should be ready for printing and available soon. Beyond that we're still looking at a product a month. I have a long, long list of books to get out even after the announced releases.

Just wondering, with the whole "Peacekeepers" thing, I'm not sure how useful it will be for my group as it's a Starfleet-based one. Splatbooks for the different professions is a sound idea as far as previous games has gone, but aren't they only used in 50% of campaigns or mainly by GMs (or is it just me)?

That said, I'm really looking forward to the Mirror Universe book as the group had a brief run through it when they were dashing through time and space at one point and they accidently killed the security officer's mirror self. I want to bring the Mirrorverse back but am nowhere near enough trekkie to fight the players without a resource like this.

I also am planning a campaign which would be greatly enhanced by my possession of the Mirror book.

I am deluding myself into hoping that it will include other alterniverses.

If my delusion is, in fact, a delusion... which it almost certainly is... We still need an alternate timelines book. Well, I need one, anyway...

Deep Space Nine book.....

Jon starts drooling over his keyboard.

I just hope it's got lots of stuff about the Dominion War since I use the War as major factor in the backgrounds of the characters in my campaigns. Even down to players testing to see if they have bad dreams after a combat heavy session (Willpower reaction TN 10).
We have all your working biros and we're not afraid to use them.

Leave a box of used postit notes and a box of paperclips inside the filling cabinet and things won't get nasty.

Looks good. Looks VERY good - especially the planned Next Generation and Deep Space 9 Sourcebooks. Still not sure about the MIrroe Universe book, though, but roll on the Klingons and Peacekeepers books!!!!!

However, I must agree with D.S.'s comments about Decipher standing behind this (and future) schedules. I think everyone would prefer Decipher to take a more flexible approach to these dates, given the level of ire that has been raised in these Boards in the past about later-that-published release of products. I also agree that there is a more-than-average chance that the Fall/Winter releases may slip with the release of The Return Of The King at the cinema. However, it is my sincere hope that Decipher IMHO does not neglect its RGP lines (both ST and LotR) in favour of the CCG's.

OK, rant over! Let fire commence ...
